[Nope, she can't contain her amusement anymore. Once Joshua gets it and wraps his arms around her so promptly, she can't help but let out a little giggle of happy amusement into his collar. Too cute. Waaaaay too cute.

She wraps both of her arms around him in return, making herself comfortable in his arms and resting her head on his shoulder with her grin unfaded.]

Nice and warm, right?

[She seems so happy just by such a simple gesture. It's something he'll have to do more often if she responds like this just by them holding each other. Sometimes he really doesn't know what she wants, but he also understands that perhaps he really is being too cautious. She won't break if he accidentally makes a wrong move, yet he acts as if she will. Honestly, that's an insult to Estelle, now that he thinks about it. Still, he's content at how comfortable their relationship is and doesn't want to push anything physical.

Apparently that includes just holding one another...]

Yeah, it is nice and warm. [One hand comes up to tuck some of her hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek.]

But it doesn't matter what we're doing, you're always my warmth when I need it.

[She may not have ordered cheese, but she got it anyway.]

[She won't break, that's for sure.... and maybe he was being a bit too cautious..... but Estelle though? She understood why. They'd had their talks about that, and she understood that Joshua himself needed time to realize that there was little chance he'd hurt her. His comfort was just as important to her as hers was to him, so if she gently prodded those boundaries on occasion, it was always just that. Prodding, checking, never demanding, because that wouldn't be fair.

Besides, she wasn't exactly following a roadmap with this whole 'relationship' thing, either.... Mostly she was going on instinct in true Estelle fashion, which meant going with the moment.

Her grin turns a little wry at the line he offers so sincerely, because she sure hadn't ordered that cheese, but it was still cute in it's terribly sappy way. She gives into the temptation to lean up when he cups her cheek, pressing a light, quick kiss to his lips.]

So we keep each other warm, huh?

[He really can't help but give her a bit of a goofy grin after that kiss.]

Based on what we've said, I believe that's the only conclusion.

[And not a bad conclusion to come to at all. It really is nice being like this, though. At this point, perhaps it's Joshua's comfort, but he's also starting to wonder what he can press. Though it seems he doesn't need to think about that since Estelle's the one pressing up for a quick kiss.

He's honestly pretty quick to return that kiss too, just it's not going to be a quick kiss. He kind of feels like lingering there for just a bit.]

[Cute and cuddly. Her own, personal, boyfriend heater..... That had a nice ring to it, in Estelle's opinion.

When Joshua leans back in for another kiss he can probably feel the way Estelle's smile grows, a pleased noise escaping her when their lips connect. This really was nice... being so close to him after the chill outside was warming her up quite well, and she curls her arms more fully around him, relishing in the comfort of embrace and kiss both, fingers trailing up his spine a little.

She lingers along with him in the kiss, not pulling away and leaning upwards to kiss him more fully, her still slightly chilly nose bumping against his cheek. Whoops?]

[Sometimes it surprises him how enthusiastic she gets about kisses, but he's starting to realize he shouldn't be surprised. That he needs to get over things, especially because she certainly has a long time ago. He's the one holding himself back because he doesn't want to make Estelle feel that way ever again.

And it's because he never wants Estelle to feel that way again that he needs to get past his own fears. That's why when she pushes into the kiss, he presses back. He wants to try things, but at a slow pace to see what she would be okay with. So he starts pretty simple as he takes her bottom lip between his teeth and gives it a light nip as he wonders what kind of reaction she'll have.]

[It wasn't like Estelle was unhappy with how they were, not by a long shot, but she did want to explore some other things they could do.... and at the base of it all, Estelle was just an affectionate person by nature. She hugged and threw herself on Joshua before they were dating, after all.

So cuddling up to him and kissing him like this? Was really nice. She lets out a little noise of surprise when Joshua nips her lip, a blush staining her cheeks because she wasn't expecting that sensation, but it was kind of fun. Hmmmm...

Feeling a little bold and still somewhat playful, she lets her tongue dart out over his lips curiously for a second, wondering what else she can do.]

[He knew he was going to get a surprised reaction from Estelle by doing what he did, what he didn't expect was to embolden her to take the next step she did. Not a bad thing at all as the arm that's wrapped around Estelle tightens around her to pull her closer (if he could), and the hand that was once cupping her cheek places itself behind her neck.

In response to her bold move, his own tongue meets hers, if she hasn't retracted it yet. Otherwise, he'll respond to her move by dragging his tongue across her lower lip.]

[She scoots a little closer herself, pleased with the positive reaction she's gotten for her curiosity. It was kind of fun for Estelle, really, seeing what worked and what didn't, and this new kind of kissing was almost... ticklish. Not quite, but close enough.

She lets her own tongue meet his after a moment of pause, wondering where this would lead.]

[It's a really nice feeling to know she's not shying away from this at all. Perhaps she's been wanting this kind of affection for a while and had been waiting for Joshua to be ready to give it to her. He can tell she's curious, wanting to know where this would lead. Joshua could be a tease, but when it comes to affection, he's far from one.

Since he has a good amount of courage worked up, he decides to act on impulse and press his tongue against her lips to demand entrance. It really was uncharted waters he was sailing, but something about this really excited him, too.]

[She is curious, and just as excited as he is, really. She liked having him in her arms like this, and liked being close to him.

It probably shows in how she presses a little closer to him, body curling around him a little more as she opens her lips a little to see what he'll do. Any closer and they'd probably be pressed right up against each other, really.]

[This is definitely something. They've held each other before many times, but they've honestly never been so close. To feel her get so into it honestly made him happy. He wasn't sure how she'd respond to the physical aspect of their relationship, but so far it's been so good. Still, Joshua would be cautious in the future, but just for now knowing he could do this was more than enough.

Though she gave him that opening so he's definitely going to take it. There's a tiny bit of hesitation on his part, the part of himself that wants to hold back for his own comfort, but he's going to take it as he pushes his tongue into her mouth, letting it settle for a bit before rubbing against her tongue a bit.]

[Joshua might be feeling hesitant, but Estelle wasn't. A little self-conscious, yes, but she knew she liked this, and she lived Joshua, so there was no hesitation, only shy encouragement in the form of a hand stroking his shoulders.

That, and a hilarious cross between a squeak and a giggle when he finally slips his tongue into her mouth. It really did tickle!]

[Self-conscious is definitely what Joshua's feeling right now, more in the form of making sure she's comfortable. Her noise she made almost made him break the kiss, fearing that perhaps he crossed a boundary with her. However, it became clear that it wasn't the case as his hand that is behind her neck comes back to cup her cheek and stroke her face.

He's pretty into this by the way he holds on to her and the way he presses into her. His tongue rubs against hers for a bit longer before deciding to probe and rub at the roof of her mouth.]

[Not uncomfortable, not by a long shot. She is surprised though, and her grip on him tightens just a little as he runs his tongue over the roof of her mouth, drawing a sharp breath in response.

Her fingers run along the back of his neck as she finally, curiously twins her tongue with his, wondering about the response she'll get.

Huh, he kind of tasted like.... huh.]

[It's definitely nice that she's so responsive and it's helping the hesitation he had earlier. He feels like he can quit being so self-conscious now and just appreciate all of this. Taking a breath through his nose, he presses his tongue against hers, more or less curious now to see how she'll respond now that he's no longer afraid.

Though he wonders how much longer he should keep it up before he starts wanting more.]

[Estelle responds in kind, though depending on how closely Joshua is paying attention, he might see the look of realization that comes to her eyes as their tongues twine. She was tasting apple. Apple, and cinnamon, and.... Whoa.

That was so cool!

She takes another breath before deepening the kiss, pressing as close as she possibly can to get at more of that taste in true Estelle fashion.

Maybe he should be wondering less about himself and more about Estelle.]

[Yeah, he can tell she's definitely focused on something. Well, obviously his tongue, but he gets the feeling it's not just the sensation she's enjoying. Of course he can taste it on her, too, but it's not what he's focused on. Though now he's sort of kicking himself for being so ambivalent about it given how into it she is.

Then again, if it involves food or the taste of food, she's all for it.

...good to know. Not like he didn't know but...]

[Estelle lets out a little pleased hum into his mouth, smiling into the kiss as she discards what's left of her shyness to explore a little. Not only did Joshua's kisses feel good, they tasted really good right now, too. What wasn't awesome about that?

Priorities, she had them. Joshua was dating a bit of a glutton-- both for affection and for tasty treats, apparently.]

[Yeah, apparently. Now Joshua's enjoying this and all, but one, he needs air. And two, he really needs to confirm things. Especially with how she's starting to become dominant. However, that does give him an idea. Tapping her tongue with his own, he retreats back to his own mouth just to see what she'll do and if she'll respond.]

[And when Joshua retreats Estelle follows, seeking out his tongue with her own sneaking into his mouth to twine with it. She's not really paying much attention to.... well, much of anything besides touch and taste and Joshua right now, and it takes her a few seconds to realize that he might be pulling back to breath.

Whoops. She pulls an inch away with a sheepish look, cheeks quiet flushed from their activities and breathing a little quicker than normal.] Ahaha... you taste really good right now, you know?

[Yeeeeep, that's her excuse. She licks her tingling lips a little, the taste of apples and spices still lingering.]

[Well, they could have made a game out of it for a bit before he really did need to take a big breath. Which is exactly what he does when she chooses to break the kiss. He's pretty flushed himself, not expecting at all for her to get so into that.

Then her statement and her licking her lips, well, she may be sheepish, but she has Joshua blushing like crazy now. Usually he's the one good at making her fluster and blush. Not vice versa, but she does have the tendency to surprise him.]

Is that all you can say after that?

[He releases a sigh.]

Really, I'm not surprised...

[Ooooooh.

Oh. That expression of his was just too cute right now. Estelle's smile widens into a grin, suddenly feeling quite pleased with herself for putting it there on Joshua's face.] Oh come on. You're just so sweet, you know?

[She leans in to give him another peck, entirely too cheeky.]

[Was that a pun? Oh Aidios help him please. He knows he's blushing like crazy and he knows Estelle has the full advantage right now. A complete role reversal from usual and Joshua really needs to think of a proper comeback. It's just not coming to him right now, especially since he words are punctuated by her giving him a kiss.]

I guess I shouldn't complain since you enjoyed that far more than I thought you would.

[He's able to bring back his smile. Honestly, he's not teasing right now, rather really happy she did like it.]

[Estelle's smile loses some of it's cheekiness, gaining a sort of tenderness in it's stead. She really didn't know why she wouldn't enjoy it. Sure, it was way different, but the intimacy of it was.... really nice. The sensation, the closeness, the taste... And Joshua's consideration and concern, as much as it was unwarranted, still sent a happy rush of affection through her, warming the room beyond the both of them with it's intensity.

It really wasn't a joke-- He was so sweet, and she loved him for that. She rests her forehead against his, looking into his eyes with that lingering smile and still flushed cheeks.]

Yeah, I really did.
